Did you know, Marsh-wiggle Way was named after the fictional frog like humanoid marsh-dwellers found in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair, written by east Belfast Author C.S Lewis.

Today’s throwback Thursday takes us back to 2016 when a brand new section of the Connswater Community Greenway opened to the Public, Marsh-wiggle Way, a one kilometre cycle and pedestrian link connecting Orangefield Park and Clarawood to the Braniel. ℹ️

Supporting the Scaffolding Project in a great collaboration with and Communities in Transition to consult and report on the community response to the experience of poverty in East Belfast

The Scaffolding Project, supported by the Executive Office’s Initiative, has produced this Briefing Document with , and the Briefing Document has been funded by the Communities in Transition Programme.

Michele Bryans has been appointed Chief Executive of EastSide Partnership, an urban regeneration charity based in east Belfast. She joined EastSide Partnership in 2015 leading on the strategic direction for Connswater Community Greenway.

Join us this Halloween for a carnival-style parade along the Newtownards Road. On Saturday 30th Oct at 6pm, in partnership with local community groups will lead a vibrant procession full of light, sound and performance, including local dance troupe .

Back in March 2006 Avalon House opened and has been EastSide Partnership’s headquarters since. This is one of many buildings that have been transformed in east Belfast via our not-for-profit property development company EastSide Property (formerly Landmark East).
